Welcome to my official website! My musical journey started at the age of 15 when I picked up a guitar and started playing along to my favorite bands. From there, I always knew that music was a passion. When I was 18 , I met COG bass player, Luke Gower, 

https://www.cog.com.au/ we formed a band and started playing music together. It was an amazing experience. After a few years playing guitar and writing music, sadly, I no longer had any desire to play guitar or play in a band for that matter, for a period of 18 years. Life and the need to provide for my 2 dependents seemed far more important. As a devoted father, I  no longer found the drive to sit and play. 

 

Somewhere back in 2019 a friend of mine was learning songs from various artists on guitar and for some reason, I felt an urge to try and do so myself. I felt that over a span of 18 years, I had finally realized, I had a better understanding for music and playing other peoples songs came fairly easy.

 

It was Jack Johnson that opened that door as I had been playing his music on high rotation on a daily basis. I was given an acoustic guitar sometime through that 18 years and it just seemed right to play the acoustic as I didn't own an electric guitar back then. Knowing my Apple computer came with a free music program, I opened up my garageband and started recording a few acoustic riffs I had come up with and did not stop. The music just started to flow and I was back writing my own music once again.

It felt a lot different to the earlier days as my musical sense had matured. A good friend of mine had lent me his Gibson Les Paul for 18 months so I was able to record my demos and by 2021, I had written 10 original songs for a 4 piece band.

Realizing I had my songs, it was now time to find someone to perhaps help me produce them and have my songs recorded.

 

Lucius Borich, https://www.keysoundstudios.com/had his own home recording studio in Tintenbar NSW. I called him up to ask if he would be able to help me get my songs into the studio and perhaps produce my music and he kindly excepted. We booked some dates and I made my way up to record and finally started the process. Our musical journey had begun. We began with a track called "IN THE DARK AGAIN" which Lucius played drums, bass and even a killer guitar solo in this particular song. It was one of two demos I had sent him. luckily for me, Lucius liked the songs very much! Luke even laid down a middle section on bass!! 

There are 2 songs in the first sessions of these recordings with many more to come.

Today, as a solo musician, I continue to create and play music that inspires me, and I hope it inspires you too.
